7 days Meditation & Yoga on Ibiza

22 - 29 March 2025

7-Day Meditation & Yoga Retreat on Ibiza: A Journey to Inner Peace

Join me for a transformative week-long retreat at Sermita, a 400-year-old monastery nestled in the peaceful forests of San Miguel. This retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from daily distractions and deeply reconnect with yourself in a supportive and serene environment.

Designed to take you on a meaningful journey of self-discovery and inner balance, this experience is rooted in the time-honored practice of Vipassana meditation. Throughout the week, you’ll cultivate greater clarity and a sense of grounded presence, developing tools to navigate life’s challenges with more awareness and ease.

Daily Rhythm:

Each day begins with the practice of the 5 Tibetan Rites, complemented by simple yoga exercises. This gentle yet powerful sequence energizes both body and mind, helping you create a balanced foundation for the day ahead. It’s a mindful practice that encourages alignment and prepares you for deeper meditation and introspection.

Afterward, we transition into Vipassana meditation. This practice centers on observing bodily sensations and mental patterns with calm, focused awareness. Through consistent, guided sessions, you’ll learn to quiet the mind and uncover deeper insights that can lead to lasting inner peace and resilience.

Amidst the lush surroundings of Sermita, encompassing 42,000 sqm of abundant nature, you’ll find the perfect environment for reflection and inner growth.

With beautifully designed spaces that harmonize with the island’s history, you can enjoy both shared gatherings and quiet moments of solitude, whether lounging in daybeds, dining under the vast pergola, or finding peace in one of the many serene pockets around the property.

Afternoons are a time for self-study or optional one-on-one sessions to deepen your understanding of Vipassana. As the sun sets, we come together again for a gentle Yin yoga session, allowing your body to release any tension and integrate the day’s insights into a state of deep restoration.

Community & Connection:

Sermita serves as a home for our global family of explorers and open-minded seekers, fostering connection and shared experiences. The community is known for its magic, music, art, and collaborative nature, creating a supportive atmosphere grounded in compassion and the pursuit of inner peace.

By the end of the retreat, you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and equipped with practical tools to bring mindfulness into your daily life. Enjoy the opportunity to float in the saltwater pool or natural eco-pool, practice yoga in the panoramic shala, or unwind in the spa area.

Whether you’re seeking to deepen your practice or find inner peace, this retreat at Sermita offers a transformative experience in one of the world’s most beautiful settings.

The Food

My name is Mayla and I am looking forward to introduce you to Conscious Food Ibiza.

My special food creations that I prepare with love, are mainly vegan and original, rich in nutritions, fresh, alive and colourful.

For me the most important ingredient is nourishment and love that I share. All the beautiful individuals entering my kitchen I give them the feeling to feel home. To share what there is in the moment and to ask me any question and to feel free to open the fridge ore cupboard to take what they need. Like they are home.

With Joy and Love Mayla

About Brian

About your retreat facilitator Brian Nielsson from My Daily Tune

Brian has been meditating since the age of 21, and over the last 15 years, he has guided more than 10,000 meditation sessions, drawing deep inspiration from the Vipassana technique. At the core of his life is maintaining inner stillness and clarity, allowing him to inspire others to build awareness, find direction, and experience greater joy in life.

Brian holds a deep trust in the universe’s self-organizing power, approaching each day with simplicity, gentleness, love, and joy. As he often says, the clear answers always emerge when we meet silence—along with the unhelpful patterns that hold us back.

With rich experiences in building and developing two gazelle companies and five years on the Danish kayaking national team in his youth, Brian has faced significant challenges throughout his life.

This journey has given him a profound understanding of the struggles many people encounter today. He empathizes deeply with those navigating their own difficulties and seeks to provide support and guidance through his work.

Brian is dedicated to helping individuals find balance, clarity, and inner peace, regardless of their background or life situation.

Through his workshops, coaching, and meditation guidance, he empowers people to unlock their potential, cultivate mindfulness, and embrace a life of balance, fulfillment, and joy.

Vipassana Meditation

All the meditations Brian guide are inspired by Vipassana, a meditation rooted in the Buddhist tradition that focuses on developing clarity and insight through direct observation of the mind and body. Through regular practice, one learns to observe thoughts, emotions, and sensations with an open, non-judgmental attitude. Vipassana is known for promoting inner peace, understanding, and freedom from suffering.

Vipassana begins with Anapana meditation, which directs attention to a neutral area beneath the nose known as Anapana. This point serves as a focal point where one observes the breath without altering it. By training the mind to be mindful in this way, one gradually builds a deeper understanding of the nature of the mind and strengthens the ability to remain present in the moment. Once a certain level of stability and awareness has been achieved through Anapana meditation, one progresses to Vipassana meditation.

In Vipassana, one observes bodily sensations, thoughts, and feelings with an open, non-judgmental attitude. This practice, based on insight and acceptance, helps build clarity about the mind’s processes and its relationship with the body. Through regular Vipassana meditation, one gradually develops a deeper connection to oneself and a greater capacity to handle life’s challenges with calmness and clarity.

Acceptance is a key component of Vipassana meditation. You learn to accept things as they are, without trying to change or suppress them. This creates a deep sense of inner peace and liberation from suffering.

It’s important to note that Vipassana meditation is a practice that requires time and patience to master. It’s not always easy, and there will be days when the mind feels restless and distracted. However, through regular practice, you can gradually build a greater capacity to be present and live more fully in the moment.
